The older I get the less patience I have for grinder work. Stuff that should be robot work but has a few janky bits that make it human. Often just arbitrary protocol shit that needs to be looked up.

For example: compare overlap on my 3 email lists across 2 services. Download, rationalize format, dump into single file, sort, bin, count. Should be a “robot, compute Venn diagram, here’s my login.”
Damn things can beat us at Go but not do simple shut like this.

Moravec’s paradox strikes again. Boston dynamics will sweep all the Olympic events before we get even a half competent mediocre artificial admin assistant.

You could do this in a few lines of code. Issue is nobody would pay for such a robot in the quantities necessary to justify the upfront development. Robots aren’t necessarily hard, they are just hyper specific.

Im busy writing python scripts for all my maintenance, which will need rework if I change boxes or systems.
Best a co. could do now is sell package complete. Otherwise, yeah, Olympics.
