What constraint do you design your life around that might seem silly and easy to override to others but is really hard to violate for you? Eg: being vegetarian, a significant but perhaps comical-to-others phobia etc.

Not eating bread. (Grain, wheat, yeast) Ordering a burger without the bun gets some funny looks

I don't understand how that's different from vegetarianism.

Is vegetarianism an acquired habit or a constraint? Whichever it is isn't grain abstention the same category?

No grains is likely to be acquired since it’s a fairly new dietary trend and I doubt any kids have been raised that way

Mine have! But I guess I'm still having trouble understanding the difference you're getting at. Surely a phobia is acquired? Here's mine: I don't eat (almost any) plants. It may seem silly, but it's a health constraint that would be harmful for me to violate.
