Useful but only for keeping hands away from face. Via Virologist who said that N95/100 were more useful as masks. Wonder what more useful means, though?

the tell isn’t the type of mask, it’s the fact that the wire band at the top hasn’t been bent around the nose, so there’s big gaps in the fit

the white masks will not stop and biohazards at all. the blue ones will prevent the wearer from contaminating others. you need an N95 respirator that covers nose thru chin. it should feel like breathing thru a paper bag. walked a few miles with the N95 to build resiliency
