Another way to approach this. The only thing that stands between everyone and a permanently lean, well muscled body is the right programming.

Unfortunately the missing programming is genetic rather than psychological 😀 That said, changing your psychology in terms of self discipline, physical discomfort and fear will allow significant improvements in lean body mass and especially strength.

Pound for pound chimps are roughly 4-7 times as strong though they can’t apply it evenly (chimps probably couldn’t squat huge weights but they can start peeling the quarter panels off of your car barehanded). Gorillas are even stronger. Chimps won’t mess with them even in numbers

They are also extremely strong and also smart. Fortunately most great apes are not as aggressive as are chimps who are quite murderous. Likely a result of chimp social hierarchy being more political in nature and thus more unstable than gorillas which is rigid
