Okay, about half the people are getting the point of a Schelling point game, the other half are getting it exactly backwards. Unlike most social media games, the point is not to stand out, but blend in to the crowd the most. The cleverest answer is by definition the most wrong.

Systems designed to crack Schelling Points are older than Schelling himself. New to me. Closest prior encounter with a similar concept was the "standalone complex" which essentially amounts to similar humans reading similar books/sites thus forming similar beliefs and and thus taking similar actions. No coordination or prior planning required.
