It’s a fine line — doesn’t happen often because I tend to not carry cash and safety is a concern, but the lack of acknowledgement I can’t let slide internally

I’ve also accepted the likelihood of an interaction to some degree. For whatever reason — strangers (the lost, lonely, curious, homeless) tend to approach me. It’s been so my entire life.
