Though pure ingredientism can also be premium mediocre.. like vodka hipsters being unable to tell grey goose apart from Smirnoff or whatever (I cant)

I did a definitive, blind, "peer reviewed" (we had witnesses) taste test between Stoli's and Absolut in the 80s. The tasters could reliably distinguish the vodkas, and one of the tasters (me) learned that "their" vodka wasn't their fav. Christmas '88 I think. God, I miss mom.
