Laws of cute? The general thing is to lower the standards of the good thing and add superficial features. Like for chocolate, lower cacao quality, nicer packaging.
For this chai, I’d use worse quality black tea base, but add a sprinkle of cinnamon or something

Though pure ingredientism can also be premium mediocre.. like vodka hipsters being unable to tell grey goose apart from Smirnoff or whatever (I cant)
