Of course you may be accumulating mo’ problems from some other source, like aging. I’ve generally been making mo’ money with age, modulo some volatility, but problems increasing faster. Personal Malthusian race.

Can also solve health problems, stress problems, time problems, knowledge/skill problems.

Cost of managing a marginal dollar should never cost more than a dollar (unless speculating). Worst case scenario - donate it all to a random charity and get tax deduction. What you're describing is just Gervais-Principle "loser" group mantra.. coping method

Gradual wealth is one thing, but it seems like it’d be hard to quickly get a lot more money without dramatically disrupting the social context you’re in.
Whole new set of skills to learn & social challenges. And just getting the $$$ may be alienating (e.g. workaholism).

1. Stupid is an unfortunate word choice. People make decisions, some are successful, some aren’t. You’re “othering” people whose decisions you armchair QB.
2. Different problems come with success. Jay-Z raps about turning down the Super Bowl, that was a problem he had to handle
