I forget the name for this, but one strategy is to post a sincere but also clearly confused take on the thing you want answered, and people will come correct you.

I guess the logic in this comes down to the incentive structure for semi-anon Q&A. There's no reward you can anticipate for answering besides relative increases in status. The interests of the Q'er and A'er just aren't aligned enough for mutual gain to be possible.
