if a podcast is big enough I feel it reaches across culture space and starts impacting adjacent areas like twitter. in that way, i'm sure you feel some of the zeitgeist impact of culturally relevant podcasts like chapo or something

It seems to me that increasing ignorance in a world of quickly multiplying information is the primary feature of our zeitgeist. The development of ideas seems to entail "subculturation" and there are more ideas among us than ever before and they can now spread farther and faster.
