What is the most trivial event that would drain your resilience and make you go “life sucks and universe hates me”? And how would you objectively rate it on a scale of 1-100 where 1 is a paper cut and 100 is say an aggressive terminal cancer diagnosis? Eg: “lost phone, 15/100”

Yea I feel u. For me losing my keys a while ago felt like 20-30, maybe more. Not actually a massive inconvenience since I have spares, but it felt like a deep personal failure on my part (used to lose stuff a lot as an absent-minded kid, then thought I was done with that)

I still would lose my keys all the time, except I have a ritual for dealing with them. And sometimes things come up to disrupt the ritual, and poof, they disappear. Keys as metaphor for agency, maybe?
