If you can't get Atwater, LA, try the Atwater street neighborhood in Montreal, Canada which is also great

can't beat that area for convenience otherwise. The Metro bikes are getting a lot more docks around here, so bike to Vermont red line is an increasing possibility

I love
@MyGlendale and though it is highly walkable and near good hikes, being off-transit and not allowing scooters/bike shares is up there on my list of its worst and most annoying qualities. Prime access to LA River Bike Trail is great however!https://twitter.com/starsandrobots/status/1183213882732531713?s=21 …

Would also give low grade to pedestrian-friendliness despite walkability and prevalence of sidewalks: https://twitter.com/starsandrobots/status/1196148927742898176?s=21 …https://twitter.com/starsandrobots/status/1196148927742898176 …

We moved to Glendale because it had the most options and inventory for apartments. There's two bus lines that are reliabl for Silverlake/echo park/downtown, and it's a 10-15 minutes drive/rideshare to most of the other spots. Of the three Los Feliz was our favorite.

Not the other two, but Los Feliz has a red line rail stop and great bus service
