I will give up on not reading Heidegger and begin not reading Sartre.
-
I haven’t read either in the original either yet. Reading around them and excerpts. Antilibrary swap ops ftw

Arendt had an essay called Heidegger the Fox which I read as suggesting his fraudulence. I was never serious enough to have a valid opinion about H. but A. seemed persuasive. And she had inside knowledge.
-
Oh nice. I’m definitely more simpatico with Arendt than Heidegger. She was a clear thinker. Found it https://atlasofplaces.com/essays/heidegger-the-fox/ …

With basic algebra you cancel "being" "and" and "model" from each side.

Why? It was hard going but got a lot out of reading Heidegger assisted by Hubert Dreyfus’s notes and lectures. Honestly didn’t get much sense out of ‘being and nothingness’ though of course Sartre’s creative works rock.
-
Not sure ‘more right’ is really the thing for either though, rather they are lenses and they are interesting to the extent to which they shift your perception in interesting ways.
