Easy for you young ‘uns to be excited. I’m 45, in most ways that matter, 2030 is going to be worse than 2020, on the wrong side of a peak at best. The *best* I can hope for is more money, which is the *least* you can hope for if you’re say 32.5.

I’m 34 and feel the same way. More money is probably the best thing I can hope for, to survive the inevitable financial, climate, and societal crises this decade and the next promise. Maybe you mean something different?

48 here. I’ve read that it’s going to get better, subjectively. The self reported satisfaction with life is going up after 45. I’m really hoping it to be true. I certainly could use it. Cheers, brother
