Hey @lunchclubai looks like you're emailing my gmail contacts with invites to join without permission. Not okay. I'm revoking access and warning people I recommended this to. The first time I logged in, the contacts-access thing was skippable but the second time it was not.

I’ve never seen an application which needed that permission. I cancel my signup when I saw that shit.

Yeah, usually I am too, but this time, in a moment of weakness when I couldn't find the skip link the second time I logged in, I just impatiently clicked ahead. Dumb of me.

FYI - you can use LC without giving them access. It's what I've been doing - still an enjoyable experience.

There’s a bug that prevents skipping in some cases. That’s what tripped me up.

See my update to the thread. It looks like a coincidence. They’re random inviting LinkedIn people it seems and it can look like contact spam if you gave permission.
