As a teen/young adult I actually was compelled to get into pomo because of how my neighbor & some teachers in Florida in the early-mid 00s still talked about it like it was a threat. Maybe that exp. wouldn’t have happened to someone who grew up in a place less behind the times.

It didn’t die away. It was unconsciously embraced and operationalized by boomers. There’s nothing more pomo than Trump. That’s what makes ok boomer funny. To some extent expresses an ok-kids sentiment that would normally go the other way, from 70y olds to 17y olds
