I wouldn't mind an s-filter on either of those. I thought A had too much room noise, but better EQ than B. I preferred B's lack of room noise, but it needs more s-filter than A.

I'd be curious about how B would sound if you moved the mic away from your face bit.

Just a tad, and your S and T seemed to clip a bit. Maybe record at a slightly lower volume, apply s-filter, then normalize it. EQ to taste.

The Sennheiser headset is probably a gaming headset geared toward cutting through game noise. You might have to buy a real mic. I use a shotgun mic (Audio-Technica AT875R) because it cuts room noise. If you want to continue recording without editing, you'll need a decent mic.

Here's some unedited audio from the mic I mentioned in a pretty noisy room. The mic is clamped to my desk and my computer has very loud fans. I'm about 1ft away, facing away from the mic. I adjusted mic volume to just below clipping level.https://soundcloud.com/user-402724038/shotgun-mic-test/s-h4Ifs …
