Trying to choose between Sennheiser PC 8 ($35) and Jabra Evolve 40 ($75) to upgrade my podcasting experiments from the white headphones that came with my iPhone to USB headset mic. Thoughts? https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-PC-USB-Headset-line/dp/B005HWEZGG …https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ODRSHZ6/

I do have a studio condenser mic $200) and pre-amp ($100) that I bought like 8 years ago and rarely used because it was always too janky to get working properly, and another 3.5" condenser mic that has some frayed cable issues. I've decided I'm too lazy for anything complex

Also considered some pricey noise-cancelling ones that @SwiftOnSecurity was recommending for like $600 but then decided that was way too much. Ended up buying the $35 sennheiser. I mean the iphone white headphones are almost good enough, so a slight upgrade should do.

I thought in the US people just buy both options and return whatever’s worse

... when your ears tire of those I rec a set of these. A touring sound guy favorite for years. There are pricier options that are technically more accurate, but these aren't false and sound good, with detail. Not totally closed eared, can wear all day.https://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR7506-Professional-Diaphragm-Headphone/dp/B000AJIF4E …
