Are plants a distinctly Millennial aesthetic, or are we just getting into the stage of life where people want to care for something but aren't ready to be parents yet? 🌱🌿🍀

Mini-succulents are millennial (and premium mediocre), but not plants in general. Most people with room to grow stuff will grow stuff. Balcony, backyard, whatever. I suspect when Gen Z grows old enough, it will get into urban vegetable gardening.

I'm probably old enough and have had the itch to get into urban vegetable farming niggling around in the back of my brain for already a few years now, so... spot on?
