http://Ghost.org have recently released their 3.0 version which supports membership payments for premium subscriptions, paid newsletters or paid-only comments sections/communities. This is the road I'm taking

I just can't see it being 'not-WordPress' on that time scale. The others are all interesting trends, but too complex, niche, or experimental to win out anytime soon. A combination of 1 and 2. People will continue to write on Wordpress and other CMSes but frameworks like

Reluctantly chose JAMstack but I'd like to extend it to 8-10 years and add "other" 5 seems too short for much of a sea change. Plus I think it may depend on blogger's audience...
