I’m going to call this the Chosen One theory. Genuinely being this way puts you in the running for being the Chosen One in some story, whether or not you intend to/hope for such a fate.

I would love to hear how your approach to work differs from Graham’s. I don’t quite agree with him either but can’t articulate why. Working on lots of interesting things seems like sound advice

I have no problem with his a;roach per se. It’s presumably appropriate for entrepreneurs hoping to score VC funding. My approach is simple to solve for mediocrity and drafting off of more driven people.

Didn’t find PG’s article that compelling. Baseball cards are basically bus tickets. He writes about this particular topic every few years. This article seems to be a stirred pot/amalgamation of his previous ideas.
