Wishful thinking 2020 scenarios: W+P>C (A New Hope, Warren, Sanders, Biden) C+P>W (Bloomberg, Harris.... Empire Strikes Back, ) W+C>P (Trump re-elected) None of these work, so likely outcome is incumbency win for Trump.

Except P is so down for the count and battered it doesn’t even make for a good punching bag for resentment and scapegoating anymore. I think it will still win, but via Trump return. There isn’t enough energy or reason to switch to a new version of the same state.
