After a slow start Witches Abroad turns into the clearest distillation of Pratchett’s philosophy so far (nearly done with all of the books, only a few left)
“You can’t make happiness, all you can do is make an ending” — Granny Weatherwax. That’s Discworld in a tweet.

The second act is structured as a series of refactored retellings of a few classic fairy tales, which would normally be tedious acrobatics, but here they drive towards an interesting anti-narrative philosophy.

Current status. I’m probably skipping the Tiffany Aching series.

I'm on raising stream and then the last Tiffany book (they're quite good too btw, lots more Granny Weatherwax). Kinda sad about coming to the end. Started the first one a year ago from tomorrow, on my honeymoon as had got sick and was sleeping all day haha

Yeah same as you. I hadn't read them and when you started tweeting about the series I decided to give it a go (it seemed an intimidatingly large corpus in the past) and loved it.
It's been a very fun diversion from startuping

Yeah it’s been a great escape for me as well (more from writing in public than consulting for me)
