The only hardware work I do regularly is cooking. Hardware generally has a higher, more complex Minimal Satisfying Project (MSP) threshold. In software, loosely defined to include writing, satisfaction can be found at the scale of making a good sentence, or a good Excel graph.

Though I suppose paper airplanes or other common origami designs are decent MSPs. MSPs are a more useful idea for me than MVPs, since I rarely need anything I do to be viable. Only personally satisfying.

though in general I don’t find pure “toy” MSPs very satisfying, it doesn’t have to be “useful” but it should be woven into regular life rather than a side hobby life. So a sandwich is more satisfying than a paper plane
