Oh hey here’s a Python 2.7 end-of-life clock. I didn’t know they’d finally set the date for ending support. Is this for real? If do, now I’m motivated to finally learn python and quit Matlab brandcuffs. I was put off by the schizophrenic state.https://pythonclock.org

I've only used it for personal projects. It was designed for people fleeing matlab, so you sounded like a good candidate.

Fleeing Matlab is one motive. Working in a language that can prototype production code for web apps etc is another. I suspect I could easily hire people to appify python code but not Julia. Still, good reminder to check it out.
