Any of you ever given less than 5 stars for Uber/lyft? What was the reason? Do you do it routinely? Ever go below 4?
It’s turned into one of the most ceremonial things ever for me.

People are answering as if it’s widely known that a 4 star rating costs a driver $$$/week. I didn’t know this. I have given 4 stars thinking it was the equivalent of a B+

If they break major traffic rules like jump a red light or get into a race with someone I knock some points off.

Driver talked on the phone the whole time and dropped me two blocks from my destination without realizing it. I gave him 4 stars. Only sub-5 that I remember. But I've always had good experiences.

Only once, they missed the same exit on the highway twice in a row. 4 stars.

One of my drivers had too much stuff in the backseat for me to fit and wouldn't close the window during a storm. I was shocked

I'm a ratings free rider.
Save my decision making capacity for other things.

Actually I only give one stars if I feel strongly that someone be de-platformed.
