A flat, fixed interest rate implies an exponential curve of obligate returns. Nothing in the physical world maintains an exponential curve, except nukes and bacterial infection. 40% of US GDP profits go to resource allocation jobs, that try to *increase* the rate of return.

You are not good at economics and many other sciences. Scientists without humility about things where they know nothing are a danger to society.

And what about economists who pretend their theories float in a sacred plane above the rigors of metaphysical and scientific analysis, praying onanistically until the next scientific marvel bails them out from endless cycles of bloody collapse?

And for what it’s worth, any science I’m not good at is not a real science. Just sayin’

I’m pretty sure I don’t need to know about that in order to debate economics with you

I'm sure you have know idea how the science of economics works, or how many other sciences work. Arrogant physicists are also terribly incompetent when discussing the nature of science, notorious for that incompetence among philosophers.

I’m not an arrogant physicist. I’m one that was smart enough to bail on the field when I realized most of academic theoretical physics is a sham

I don’t really care how many other smart physicists you’ve met that are wrong about stuff. I agree that many of them overextend their perceptions of competence. I don’t see what that has to do with me, though.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve chrooted my brain to Kegan-3 for the rest of the evening and I’m rather enjoying this manifestation.

Great. I'd recommend working in stage 4 where you are OK acknowledging humbly the limits of your knowledge and understanding.
