Wise as always. I never fold. Only collapse into ignominy.

To not want optimization. Most stress comes from trying to optimize unnecessarily. Oh wait! I've just given a long-winded answer that could be summarized by: Mediocrity.
-
Mediocrity is non-optimization? Or inability to optimize beyond the median band? Also, one should optimize how much one should optimize -- the sweet spot of effort and reward. Meta-optimization?

Weirdly, I wouldn’t say I’m optimizing the things I most prioritize; I feel like “premature optimization is the root of all evil” & I have to get progress before it even makes sense to think about perfection.
-
I’m optimizing my frivolous stuff tbh; I have aesthetic blogs/collections of images that I’m a bit obsessive about curating and perfecting.
