I am a fan of the linguistic junk drawer. Mash words that sound good or interesting together and then later finding a definition. This works for lyrics, titles, metaphors.

It fascinates me how in writing a software; choosing your own naming conventions for abstract things you make up in your teams ‘head’ - feels like a Superpower in your corner of the world. While for the fellow “wordly” engineering community it is still very much Otherworldly!

It means the sort of results you get from various pre-sciences like sociology or nutrition. Numbers and factoids that were gathered in the "correct way", but without a deep theoretical foundation to validate whether they were even worth gathering. 1/
