Exit early, exit often. Exit small, exit tiny. Dump the drama. Exits are just glorified unilateral “no” decisions where a counterparty is confused about the level of enforceable mutuality. The size/significance of your median exit decision should halve every 18 months.

this seems similar to "dismissive-avoidant attachment style", very adaptive for internet interactions although sometimes less so for offline ones.

Yeah, it’s not just rational, it’s actually the compassionate and humane attachment style online, since too many people react inappropriately to the superficial intimacy of social media and adopt styles that make sense with family/close friends.
