All you rationality mavens, with/without prefixes (vanilla, bounded-, biased-, post-, meta-)... Has anyone ever properly studied mortal-rationality? Reasoning bounded by the belief that you will certainly die within a period T, as will your descendants?

Yeah sure Camus suicideology and all that Conversely what existentialism considers about mortality isn’t the only set of interesting things about it, so it’s a very partial view of mortal rationality

Still broadly on boundary/afterlife stuff though. I’m more interested in mundane questions like “should you aim to die a pauper if you have no kids” or “should you not do entrepreneurship after 50 because other stuff is higher utility post peak”
