It’s literally a mennuquin parade though. They’re modeling the clothes on themselves, it’s not meant to be a performance or entertaining for a wide audience

True back in the day, but I think it’s grown into more of an entertainment genre now that’s part of marketing to a broader audience and helping create demand for style trends rather than just present options to tastemakers (who are steadily losing power)

I spoke to a fashion model, she told me that the models job is to be a hanger for the clothes. Thats why they are encouraged to be superthin and presumably why they dont put excessive personality into the cat walk.
