For the first time in American history, the majority of men age 18-29 DO NOT rate themselves as highly masculine (a 6 or 7 on a 7-point scale). Among their fathers, 65+ years old, 82% of men still do. The effects on society are already being felt. Truly a lost generation. 😔

Did they control for the obvious confounder, preference falsification in older generations? It was MUCH riskier to identify as anything but traditional masculine in older generations and still is in tribal societies. Doesn’t mean they objectively fit that type.
