This is an excellent suggestion for personifying reality. Dickens’ Mr. Dick in David Copperfield comes close to this. Also Lenny in Mice and Men perhaps. Both are mentally disabled characters interestingly enough.

Perhaps a somewhat broken brain is necessary for embodying (not perceiving) reality principles effectively. Darwinist evolution is personified a blind watchmaker for example. And there’s Dustin Hoffman in Rainman, the child in Emperor’s New Clothes, etc.

Interesting but a stretch. Sine fraction of the small minority of high-functioning artistic people might fit this description. The majority are too disabled for this sort of romanticization.
