I mean, don’t expect to deeply understand everything everyone is idly throwing out here. When you get the spirit of an idea and a sense of where someone is hoping with a thought and you want to see where it goes, help it along. If you don’t, shrug and move on.

Yeah there’s also tiresome shills, personal brand builders, malicious opinion hackers, kangaroo courts of public opinion, and a president who really shouldn’t be trying to run foreign policy or the economy here. Still the default “spitballing” assumption isn’t a bad one.
