It's funny how people think a post-apocalyptic landscape will be relatively flat socioeconomically. At most they think there will be small-scale warlords or Dunbar-scale anarchist communes. No. There will be deathstar billionaires with private armies and narrow-deep tech stacks.

Depends on the post-apocalyptic scenario, I suppose. Hard to imagine currency and other assets that make one a billionaire mattering after a nuclear war or other quick mass devastation event. But if you mean slow environmental collapse that undermines current nations, perhaps...

Yes, I'm talking climate collapse mainly, not nukes (though even those would be most survivable in a remote enclave far from targeted population centers)
