If you have more context on the person than in the response, through history as mutuals or personal friendship, don’t worry about it, or how it might be influencing into your response. Pay attention to the prompt response. Don’t let context knowledge overwhelm that.

Do not hedge your answer (ie don’t offer 2 guesses) unless you sense the person is hedging on the life goal itself through their behavior. Quantum in quantum out.

If both kind/unkind judgments occur to you, go with the kind one. Not to be nice but because it’s more likely to be true by their own assessment, which is ground truth by this game’s rules. Few people have unkind understandings of their own motives.
