Simplest characterization of multitemporality I’ve come up with yet: the temporal equivalent of designating a direction as “up” on a space station. Weightlessness is like atemporality. Gravity [~= time] still exists as a physical phenomenon but does not induce privileged “up”.

Hmm... also, in space, mass and inertia still exist and need attention but are no longer aligned with gravity. All your reflexes need retraining.
