Haha I think of so many legacy businesses that on one hand deserve to be around as the market is making it profitable (Sears) but I also think of "wasted" money on awful services (AOL subscribers) https://www.consumeraffairs.com/news/reminder-aol-email-is-free-check-your-bill-for-ancient-subscription-fees-010715.html … Which begs the question "is there such thing as waste?"

I don't think everything needs to die as soon as the latest and greatest is released but at what point, if at all, do we ever pull the plug? The AOL subscription business is one of my favorite examples of that.
