2 kinds of TV show: a) Calendar shows: ones that feel like they mark the passage of time and have to try and keep up with in near real time, like South Park b) Non-calendar show: Ones that just happen in time, and I’m fine partly missing or bingeing months or years later

A show is a calendar show if it feels like time has sort of been paused since the last episode/season.Things still happen but they are kinda in time’s inbox, waiting to be actually processed and compiled into a temporality. Your “present” is last set of events you integrated
