How can you create tunnel vision on topic X without a specific goal or to-do list?
- get rid off all books and media not on topic X
- unfollow anyone not usefully focused on X, mute/block if they keep distracting you
- discipline yourself to become low-reactor to all not-X

Watch, read, listen to people who fall in love with said topic.
You need somewhat an eye for love / romance.

I like falling in love with common things.
It's easier to fall in love when you see other people fall in love.

Go to a place dedicated to that purpose (meditation retreat, art studio, gym)

YouTube makes it easy to establish tunnel vision. Its recommendations seem to pick up really fast—if I am strongly interested in X and watch a dozen videos about it, next day 80% of app’s Home tab may be about X, unintentionally and sometimes annoyingly.
