What is the "keep off my lawn" for millennials (who don't/won't have lawns)? What will be the prized status symbol that is so ubiquitous it becomes a common expression?

This is a good one. The picture parallels the lawn in the loose connection to the real thing of value (house or experience). But it's the part other people see, so it's overweighted for status.

I agree about the things->experiences transition, but I think experiences in general take it toward one upmanship. What singular experience will everyone have the same feelings about such that it can become a stand in for any common feeling of the generation?
