Clarke’s laws 1 and 2, engineering edition
1. When a distinguished but elderly engineer states that something could/should be rebuilt in a weird new way, they are almost certainly right.
2. When they state that something shouldn’t be built at all, they are very probably wrong.

I’m not very distinguished (though I did win the Rochester 2009 young engineer of the year award and my name is on 7 patents), but I am getting elderly.
So someone listen to me and reinvent blogs the way I suggest.
