I don’t get the value, so I’m suspicious. You’re not building traditional media cred. You’re not building your own channel/asset. You’re not making money. So you’re either an idiot or up to something scammy/scummy. Especially if you can actually write decently.

For them, writing is work. It’s a skill they learned for a job. Strong personal blogs are a labor of passion, curiosity, and self-expression. Audiences can tell the difference.
