Okay one more prompt. Imagine an ensemble cast for an allegorical story comprising a goat, a crow, and a rat. What kind of story would you imagine being told about them? (for adults, not children)... looking for immediate impressionistic sense of mood/tone. If easier, what genre?

Archetypes enacting a parable. Goat’s able to get to new places but stubborn. Crow’s clever but out for itself. Rat’s misunderstood and marginalized but wary and friendly.

An Aesop's fable where the goat is a fool who thinks he's wise, the crow is smart but arrogant, the rat is the underdog who comes out on top by pulling a clever trick.

Ah, I can't do it. Tell me it's for adults and I think thinkpiece, not story. It's just goat is so out of place, whereas crow and rat are so tied together, been free agents in the cities for decades...
