Paella in this context looks like the recipient name - like a large and flat pan, but in valencian/catalan. I find it hard for the dish itself to be a relief dish, since a paella can take 2-3 hours to make. Although it's true it's delicious, and rather cheap

I agree. The historical origin of paella in Spain was the food agricultors had available while working in the fields (rice, vegetables, legumes, chicken, rabbit). It was cooked in a flat pan put on top of a fire (no kitchen required). It was easy and fast to cook (not 3 hours!).
