a) Memorize something big, ar least 1000 discrete items that can’t be easily strung together as narrative/associative memory. But meaningful, not like digits of pi.
b) Create an information set worth memorizing for others, at least 100 items

Just read something by Harry Lorayne or Tony Buzan. You'll be done in half an hour.

Memorization is easy once you know how.

Suggestion: music theory. I’d happily pay for a well-made Anki deck or similar

Learn Persian. That will easily solve 'a'. (Biggest positive of that for me was it got me sustainably hooked to a spaced repetition memory system, which is now paying off in more utilitarian ways)

The nouns in any Scripture (quran, bible, torah, tao, vedas,..) that one learns at home in childhood would be sufficient, I think. It has enough common propertyness to startup a civilisation afresh.
