Nothing. I still use Google maps to figure out the buses around the neighbourhood I’ve lived in for almost 7 years now

Thinking on this more... I actually do have massive amounts of trivia memorized, but I can’t recite it. It’s not stored that way. It exists in a shadow state until activated by recognition. “I’ve seen this before / this reminds me of...”

Well most of it is somewhere between reactive pattern recognition and proactive recitation. For total recall, you need an indexing/ordering scheme. Often visual/spatial memory palace.
