My general attitude towards comics is "I'll wait for the movie/TV show". I guess I miss out on a lot of good stuff that never makes it that far or is unsuitable for it. But damn, modern comics are WORK. Like trying to run multicore nonlinear out-of-order assembly in my head.

I’m very picky when it comes to comedy, and consider it art. Perhaps precisely on account of this, I’ve never recommitted to a comedian since the loss of Greg Giraldo.

I mostly do that too. Not much of a consumer of stand-up. Though that is much easier than reading comic books of course, since it doesn't require a special literacy.
